What You'll See
Tour Description
The bikes offer an exhilarating and powerful experience, making them easy to ride and learn, even for those new to E-Bikes. With minimal effort, you gain complete control, effortlessly gliding through roads and trails, creating lasting memories.
Our meeting point is the HNF Gas Station in Keaau, and from there, we’ll embark on a 35-minute drive along Kalapana Beach Road to explore Kalapana and the 2018 lava flow. Along the way, you’ll witness cliff-side beaches, captivating lava arches, and enchanting tree tunnels. We’ll continue our ride to the newest black sand beach on the Big Island, a product of the 2018 eruption. Our next destination will be Volcanoes National Park.
Inside the park, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants (lunch cost not included in the tour fee). Once we’re back on our Fat Tire E-Bikes, you’ll discover the convenience of never having to search for a parking spot. Our bikes allow us to explore the park more efficiently than anyone in a car or on foot. We’ll make stops at all the park’s top attractions, including lava tubes, steam vents, and, if we’re fortunate, the current lava flow in a lava lake.
**Please note that we require participants to be at least intermediate-level bike riders for this tour. Refunds will not be issued for those unable to ride a bicycle.
