Our powerful Fat Tire E-Bikes are fun, smooth, and easy to ride for intermediate cyclists. With little effort, you’ll cover miles of scenic terrain while staying fully in control as you glide effortlessly along the roads. This exhilarating experience is designed to be both adventurous and unforgettable.

We’ll meet at the HNF Gas Station in Keaau before driving approximately 35 minutes to Sea View, where the ride begins through the lush southeastern rainforest. Along the way, you’ll see dramatic beach cliffs, tree tunnels formed by the rainforest, and hardened lava flows from the 2018 eruption. Your guide will share fascinating insights into island life and what it’s like living alongside the world’s most active volcano. The ride concludes at the Big Island’s newest black sand beach, created by the 2018 eruption.

This tour is intended for intermediate or experienced riders only. Participants must be able to confidently ride a 26-inch, two-wheeled bike. Please note that inability to ride the bike does not qualify for a refund, as this is a bike-focused tour experience.

Itinerary

1. Meeting Point: HNF Gas Station, Keaau
2. Transfer: Approximate 35-minute drive to Sea View
3. Journey: Ride through the lush southeastern rainforest, featuring coastal cliffs, natural tree tunnels, and hardened lava flows from 2018. Along the way, your guide shares stories of island life alongside one of the world’s most active volcanoes.
4. Stop: The Big Island’s newest black sand beach, formed by the 2018 eruption
5. Return: Transport back to the meeting point
