Our powerful Fat Tire E-Bikes make exploring the Big Island easy, fun, and unforgettable. With little effort, you’ll ride miles of stunning terrain while staying in full control as you glide effortlessly along roads and trails. This adventure begins in Kalapana, where you’ll explore dramatic lava flows from the 2018 eruption, cliffside beaches, lava arches, tree tunnels, and the island’s newest black sand beach. From there, we continue to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll have time for lunch before riding through the park faster than cars or foot traffic, stopping at iconic sites like lava tubes, steam vents, and—if conditions allow—the active lava lake. Designed for confident riders, this exhilarating tour is one you’ll remember for years to come.

Itinerary

We will meet at HNF Gas Station in Keaau. Drive 35 minutes to Kalapana Beach Road where we will tour Kalapana and the lava flow from 2018. We will see cliff side beaches, and lava arches. We will ride through tree tunnels. We will ride to the newest black sand beach on the Big Island that was created by the eruption of 2018. Once we are finished in Kalapana, we will drive to Volcanoes National Park.

Inside Volcanoes National Park we will have time for you to enjoy lunch at one of the few restaurants located inside the park. (cost of lunch not included in tour fee)
Once back on our Fat Tire E-Bikes, you will never fight for a parking spot. We will ride through the park faster than anyone in a car or on foot can. We stop at all the top spots at the park and are able to do it faster because of our amazing bikes! We will see lava tubes, steam vents and if we are lucky, we will be able to see the current lava flow that is currently in a lava lake.
